In 2005, Chicago restaurateur Billy Dec asked Dolan to help decorate his new restaurant, Rockit Bar & Grill. For this project, Dolan crafted a back-bar installation, TV frames, freestanding sculptures and restroom signage from salvaged wood and found objects. For Rockit’s second location, Dolan created an even grander back-bar installation from 100% waste stream recycled metal and wood objects. The site-specific installation included functional display and storage of alcohol and decorative accents.
