... each scene was always framed by weeping willows. - Dolan Geiman
My grandmother had this sprawling Southern staircase in her foyer, leading up and up into her Southern farmhouse. The room always smelled like lilac and the walls were lined in Southern toile wallpaper, with decadent scenes of Southern pastoral euphoria: swans gliding lazily through the air, people dipping buckets into wells of sweet spring water, men lazily fishing, and each scene was always framed by weeping willows.
