A local Chicago entrepreneur hired Dolan to decorate his new, but empty loft space in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. For this whole-home project, Dolan created a series of four original artworks and a bedroom installation to compliment the masculine farm-industrial feel of the loft. The resulting works were created with reclaimed materials, including a vintage WWII tent canvas and salvaged lumber from Chicago, in keeping with the client’s desire to add texture and personality to the sleek, charcoal interior.
