Set of two paper collage artworks (or diptych) featuring a fox and bobcat in black aspen grove with rich, colorful understory. Matching frames intended to hang side-by-side in unique tall, skinny format.

Process

Process

I often get asked for artwork in specific sizes. Many artists just create what they want and then move on. However, I like to stop and listen to my clients and supporters and try to challenge myself to come up with new artwork that is not awkward and suits the spaces we live in. This season, my desire was to create a diptych (two pieces of art meant to be showcased as one). With this in mind, I knew I wanted to create something suitable for that hard to fill space in many people’s homes. So I went skinny ;)

Each of these pieces is created in my collage style of cutting and gluing together layers of vintage papers, and then the piece is finished with a simple and sleek mountain-modern frame.Learn more about the making of paper collages here.
