The Process

Inspired by many hours of painting instruction from my mother, a professional watercolor artist in the Shenandoah Valley, this last year has seen a large collection of mixed media collage work merging painting with paper. The background was hand-painted with acrylic on wood panel. I then sketched all the different brahman and the tobacco barn which were constructed from hand-cut vintage papers.
