Description

Three dimensional mixed media sculpture of a burro. This burro sculpture is fashioned from a unique compilation of reclaimed materials, from his cowboy boot ears to his tail made from snow chain tire treads. Look closely and you'll see how hundreds of unique elements are fastened to create a fun little companion for your home, farm or cabin.

  • One of a Kind
  • Medium: mixed media assemblage wood, metal, & leather
  • Size: 24.75" H x 28.75" W x 10" D

The Process

Fashioned from a plethora of found materials, gathered and meticulously sorted at my Denver studio, this burro comes to life with a little of the unexpected magic that I love to create from the found, the discarded and the repurposed. For more, see this video on Instagram, where I sort through my collection of materials to find the perfect elements for this burro and the other sculptures in the 2021 Holiday Showcase.
