The Story

"One of my favorite ways to celebrate Día de los Muertos has been to gather around with friends and family, pull out photographs of loved ones, and share stories about their lives. We light candles and place coins, photos, booklets, skulls, small sculptures and other personal effects on a found-object shrine we have erected here in the studio. It’s a way to remember these people who have gone on before us, and to connect with their energy."
