Description

A three-dimensional bird sculpture featuring a falcon. This falcon sits atop a carefully-woven nest of reclaimed, repurposed and upcycled vintage materials. Mounted in an antique box, ready to hang with a cleat on the back.

  • Medium: hand-cut industrial metal with found objects housed in vintage mailbox
  • Dimensions: 31.5" H x 22" W x 12.75" D
  • Part of a limited series each produced with a unique set of rescued materials

The Process

My workshop is chock full of found treasures from adventures across the country. I select a palette of colors from across many mixed materials and get to work, snipping and shaping and applying in careful layers until the perfect piece emerges.
