Crafted from hundreds of pieces of hand-cut, salvaged metal, it is my hope that works like Forget Me Not serve as a reminder for non-Native populations of the need to advocate for indigenous culture and ensure its continued vibrancy, sovereignty and celebration here in the West and nationwide. The imagery celebrates Indian Country but also reflects on ways to return power to the indigenous population.
