The thrill of the catch captured in over 6’ of found object artwork, this oversized rainbow trout metal wall sculpture is created from a plethora of treasures, each carefully affixed to wood panel and arranged as iridescent scales to bring to life a fisherman’s quarry.
Each scrap of metal and unique item in this work was plucked from a riverbed or forest floor in Colorado, once discarded but given new life in this intricate work. Look closely and you’ll find hidden gems to spark conversation and delight, from baseball leather to a vintage drawer pull, and fruit salad tin to fishing knife.
