This Vaquera cowgirl artwork is truly a rare and one of a kind piece. Cosmic Bison began as an archival canvas print – and then Dolan went to town, layering in acrylic and spray paint embellishments alongside dashes of pen and paint marker. In some places freehand and in others, over stencils crafted from scrap metal, the result is a contemporary reproduction with the artist’s real touch added for dramatic effect. Look closely: you may recognize some of the shapes from Dolan's metal wall sculpture collection (as many of the stencils he created use the same patterns as his other portfolios of work). Includes a minimal float frame and comes ready to hang.
