Funding Emphasis
Applications have closed. Stay tuned for 2025. We will present (1) individual visual or craft artist
(or 1 artist group/team) annually a grant of $5000 USD to support and grow their creative business.
Applicants must demonstrate an interest in the entrepreneurial side of the arts business.
In addition to the business acceleration grant, a successful grantee will also be awarded two (2) one-hour
long mentorship calls with Dolan and Ali Marie Geiman in the twelve months following receipt of the grant.
Eligibility
- Visual or craft artists age 21 or older. Students are not eligible.
- Excludes categories of film, video and graphic design.
- Funds may not be used strictly for salary but otherwise may be used for any initiative which would help the artist make a living through their art/craft.
- Applicants must have work authorization in the USA.
- No application fee is required.
Timeline
- Applications Open - January 9, 2024
- Application Deadline - February 9, 2024 at 11:59pm MT
- Award Selection - February 12-23rd, 2024
- Grantee Notified of Award - Feb 26, 2024
- Award Distribution - March 15, 2024
