Faux Taxidermy

“I like to think | (right now, please!) |of a cybernetic forest | filled with pines and electronics | where deer stroll peacefully | past computers | as if they were flowers | with spinning blossoms.” – Excerpt from  “All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace” by Richard Brautigan

No animals were harmed in the making of this art. These works reinvent the classic taxidermy mount, fashioning majestic animal heads from hand-cut salvaged metal, reclaimed wood, and found objects.
