Having visited “the gals” as artist friend and urban chicken owner Catherine Schwalbe-Bouzide affectionately refers to her chickens in Chicago, we’ve long-since been enamored with the idea of introducing chickens into the backyard here at our studio building. But, alas, a hectic travel schedule so far prevents us from setting up a coop and so, for today, we just dream.
