The inspiration for this fellow comes from my studio music which tends to be wide ranging but has its roots in country, psychedelic, blues, and bluegrass. Songs ranging from Captain Beefheart's 'Shiny Beast Bat Chain Puller' to Eddie Noack's 'Psycho' to the Byrds 'Wasn't Born to Follow' to....well, you get the picture. This piece is entitled 'Country Music Done Changed' and is a commentary on the riffs between classic country and new country music in the late 60's/early 70's in Nashville. Many of the old school and established musicians were taking sides, either for or against the hippies and newer outlaw musicians such as Parsons and some fellow named Waylon....
