Story
Have you ever come across a photo or a face and felt like you know someone, even though your mind tells you it is impossible you could? As this piece came together, I felt more and more like she might be someone I knew. Perhaps the details in her face, or the unique palette of her outfit that seemed to come together out of the ether, but this gal for a reason I cannot explain felt like a long-lost friend.
I consider myself lucky to cross paths with some of the most incredibly interesting humans, be it the helpful (and secretly very talented) stranger in a chance encounter while trying to find the perfect entrance to mountain trail, or while nose-deep in a new book at a bookstore after hours of searching for the right tome, only to accidentally run into its author. In real life or as the papers unfold, I am lucky to find these interesting humans. They bring stories and depth and intrigue, and I am happy to capture some of their essences in works like this.
