in Creative Gift-Giving' distinction this holiday season, Dolan
Geiman's mixed media artworks are always a hit with art-appreciating
households, and those seeking eco-friendly, handmade works from the DIY
generation of artists and crafters.
Geiman's
much anticipated Holiday Sale will run from November 12 through
December 20, 2008, and include a free gift with all purchases over
$100, free shipping on all orders over $500, and other special
discounts for subscribers to his monthly e-newsletter. In addition,
every artwork available through Geiman's virtual shop (http://dolangeiman.etsy.com) will be discounted and

ETSY PICK-UP DAYS

Those hoping to eliminate
the stress and cost of shipping are invited to pick-up their Etsy
orders during two special Holiday Sale Pick-Up Days: Saturday, November
22 and Saturday, December 13 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Geiman
studio is located in the Chicago Sustainable Manufacturing Center at
1048 West 37th Street, the first sustainably renovated industrial
building in the Stockyards.

BOX PRINTS
|
|
In addition to Geiman's
collection of bold, mixed media works on wood and intimate, paper
collages under glass, the Holiday Sale will include new additions to
Geiman's popular Box Print and Rescued Wood Construction collections.
Released in the fall of 2007, Dolan Geiman Box Prints are archival,
digital reproductions on wood. Each Box Print arrives ready-to-hang and
is UV-coated for extra protection against the sun and extensive
handling by curious onlookers. Box Prints are printed with
solvent-free, VOC-free inks and can also be custom-ordered with a
chemical-free, recycled wood option.

RESCUED WOOD CONSTRUCTIONS
|
|
Another popular choice for green
gift giving, Geiman's shop will be stocked with new floral and
faunal-themed Rescued Wood Constructions. Rescued Wood Constructions
are one-of-a-kind mixed media assemblages made from 100% salvaged
materials and recycled paint from the City of Chicago's paint exchange
program. Geiman's Rescued Wood Constructions have been featured in
Juxtapoz and Design*Sponge and will be featured on Discovery's Planet
Green network this fall.

This
year, the Dolan Geiman Holiday Sale will also coincide with the
